About us

Compact Orbital Gears (2008) Limited

Compact Orbital Gears (2008) Limited was originally formed in 2001 under the name Kaimai Industries Limited and worked out of an old farm building on the Kaimai property. We moved to an industrial building in 2007 when we changed our name to Compact Orbital Gears Limited.

Our staff have a combined 37 years experience in the aerospace industry in Europe.

By virtue of its direct involvement in mechanical engineering industries and building on the experience and capabilities of its staff Compact Orbital Gears manages and carries out work for customers requiring manufacturing and assembly of fixed and mobile mechanical plant and equipment, and subassemblies for production. This brings inherent advantages for our customer in terms of built-in quality which, in turn, assures the end-user of reliability in the field. For serial manufacturers there is the added benefit of reducing the numbers of suppliers, reducing inventory lines and the costs of managing them, and having a one-stop supplier who can react quickly to new or changed circumstances as they arise.

In addition to specialist machining we cater for general engineering requirements of all industries and has since earned an enviable reputation for quality, precision and attention to detail.
